How Does it Work?

- Full-width tapered rear roller provides greater turning ability during operation making it easier to maneuver in tight areas.
- Three cutting levels allows for several options of cutting heights for a variety of land and brush types.
- A variable displacement motor allows the flail cutter to be "tuned in" to your machine, depending on its hydraulic capacity. A feature critical to the rental market, a control on the attachment connects to the motor and enables the operator to adjust the hydraulic flow from 17 to 37 gpm. This makes it possible to use the flail cutter with an assortment of carriers with different hydraulic flow capacities.

Operating Tips
- As a safety feature, the rear roller must be on the ground to operate the cutter
- Upon receiving the flail mower it is advised that the rear gate is opened fully (it arrives fully shut.) Doing this will proved a faster yet rougher cut. If the user desires further processing of material they can easily adjust the gate to the optimum desired level.
- The "fully closed" position is generally used for mulching, pruning, and when fine homogeneous mulch is desired. The "closed" position is most efficient with short vegetation, since the material being mulched will circulate between the rotor and roller. The "fully open" position, the cut material exits the flail cutter as fast as possible over the roller. Also the best performance in tall vegetation is achieved in the "fully open" position.
